Trainer2Go Success Story

Shannon Stevenson

At the end of November 2014 I found myself hanging on to “baby weight” after the birth of my daughter. That doesn’t sound unreasonable except she was 7 months old! I had gained and lost weight previously in my life and I knew what I needed to do to get the weight off, I just couldn’t find the motivation to make it happen. I have 4 kids, a full time job and my husband works crazy hours so I knew I didn’t have time to go to the gym every day. Justin had been posting information about personal training via the internet, basically. I was intrigued so I reached out to him. What Justin did for me totally changed my life. After answering some basic questions about my life style and my fitness goals Justin designed a program specifically to meet my needs. I was able to use the equipment I already had at home (5, 10, 15 lb dumbbells, 8 lb kettle ball, a yoga matt, jump rope, stability ball, and treadmill) and I could do it from the comfort of my own home. I got up before my kids and worked out in my living room. Justin also gave me a meal plan, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and all of the specific nutritional info that I needed to be successful. What I found the most helpful was that Justin didn’t just give me the workouts and meal plans, he educated me on the process. Understanding why he gave me certain exercises and why specific kinds of foods has helped me continue to make good choices since reaching my goals. In the beginning I was skeptical that this type of training would work. I thought that not seeing him face to face would hinder me when it came to actually working out and eating right. But again, Justin made himself available to me any time I needed him and he was great about checking in on me and holding me accountable. He was also my biggest cheerleader. Knowing that he was in my corner was huge for me. If you are struggling, like I was, Justin is your guy. He is knowledgeable and committed to the process when it comes to helping you meet your goals!
